2) You may find that your lessons get delayed because your tutor is unable to get to you on time because they find themselves stuck in traffic on the way to you.
3) You will need to ensure that you have a good quality piano that is in tune otherwise you will find that your lessons will not be of benefit to you if everything you play is completely out of tune.
4) The cost of having private lessons in the comfort of your own home is very expensive and you will need to commit to be available for them at certain times of the time for a certain amount of time.
However if you are looking to learn piano at home then it may be wiser to actually visit your piano teacher at theirs rather than yours. Simply they will be geared to ensure that no distractions etc. will get in the way of them teaching you how to play the piano.
